Biography

Joseph Cassidy MS, PA-C has been a Physician Assistant with Delaware Orthopaedic Specialists since 2004. He graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2003 with a Masters in Science Physician Assistant studies. While there he was awarded the Sara Somers Rupert scholarship for his academic achievement. Prior to going to PA school, he graduated from Shippensburg University in 2000 with a BS in Biology. While there, he was selected to the collegiate All American Rugby team.

He is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Pennsylvania Society of Physician Assistants and the Delaware Academy of Physician Assistants. He has been certified since 2003 and has an active license in the state of Delaware.

He primarily works under the supervision of Dr. Steven Dellose with a subspecialty in primary and revision hip and knee replacement, as well as general orthopaedic care.

Outside of the workplace he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He still is heavily involved in the sport of Rugby, both as a coach and a “has been” player.
