Dr. Kupcha, originally from the Delaware Valley, began his practice in Wilmington following a commission with the United States Army that took him to Hawaii, Desert Storm in South West Asia and Germany. Upon completion of his active duty service in the Army, he served at Fort Belvoir, Virginia as Chief of the Division of Orthopedics.

Dr. Kupcha graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania where he also participated in college football and baseball. Upon graduating with his medical degree from Georgetown University Medical School, he distinguished himself as being in the top ten percent of medical students in the country as an AOA honor society recipient. Dr. Kupcha is married to his high school sweetheart and comes from a close-knit family of eight children—four boys and four girls—raised within a span of just 12 years. Service is a defining part of his family’s story, with all four brothers serving in the War on Terror following 9/11, including roles as a Naval aviator, a Navy SEAL, and two Orthopedic surgeons. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Kupcha enjoys golf, pickleball, and competitive sporting clay shooting. He is also deeply committed to community involvement and giving back whenever possible.
