Delaware Orthopaedic Specialists Annual Hearts to Soles Event

Benefitting the Sunday Breakfast Mission

Each year, DOS partners with ‘Our Hearts to your Soles’ – a nonprofit program that coordinates shoe donations with foot care providers. Each year, DOS receives donations from Red Wing Shoes, as well as collects donations from staff members to make this event possible. With over 15 volunteers in attendance, DOS was able to give out over 200 pairs of shoes to men, women and children. Sunday Breakfast Mission residents were given shoes, socks, winter hats and gloves. Dr. Kupcha and Dr. Perscky were also on hand to provide free foot examinations and care to those who were in need. The children were especially excited about the candy canes and coloring books they got this year!
