Dr. Jeffrey Lynch, Shoulder & Elbow Specialist with Delaware Orthopaedic Specialists, recently presented research on complex revision shoulder arthroplasty at the International Congress on Shoulder and Elbow Surgery (ICSES) in Vancouver, bringing together more than 2,300 shoulder and elbow surgeons from around the world.
Dr. Lynch joined leading shoulder and elbow surgeons from around the world at the International Congress on Shoulder and Elbow Surgery (ICSES) in Vancouver. Held every three years, ICSES is a premier international meeting where specialists come together to share ideas, perspectives, research, and the latest advances in shoulder and elbow surgery. This year’s meeting brought together more than 2,300 surgeons from across the globe, including more than 900 attendees from the United States.
As part of the meeting, Dr. Lynch presented his research on complex revision shoulder arthroplasty, an area of shoulder surgery in which he specializes. Revision shoulder replacement can involve particularly complex cases, often requiring specialized expertise and careful surgical planning. The opportunity to present his work alongside an international community of shoulder and elbow specialists allowed Dr. Lynch to contribute his perspective while also learning from surgeons and researchers advancing the field worldwide. Dr. Lynch was also the only surgeon from the state of Delaware to attend this year’s ICSES meeting.
At Delaware Orthopaedic Specialists, our physicians are committed to continually advancing their knowledge and expertise so they can provide patients with highly specialized care. Experiences like ICSES give specialists such as Dr. Lynch the opportunity to exchange knowledge with experts from around the world and bring new perspectives, techniques, and insights back to their patients here in Delaware.
