Biography
Andrew Murphy, PA-C, completed his undergraduate studies in Biology at Ursinus College, then attended Lock Haven University for his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Andrew brings work experience from Cape Regional Medical Center in New Jersey, Lankenau Hospital of Main Line Health, and Lancaster Orthopedic Group where he specialized in sports medicine surgery.
Andrew joined DOS in 2023 and works closely alongside Dr. Andrisani in both the operating room and the outpatient clinic. With a team-based approach, Andrew is well equipped to manage sports related injuries as well as conditions of the shoulder and knee.
As a former collegiate baseball pitcher, Andrew provides a unique clinical advantage given his years of experience in, and around, elite level athletics. He attributes his passion for advanced level shoulder mechanics to his father, who pitched professionally for the Astros’ and Angels’ organizations.
Outside of the office, Andrew enjoys attending various church and sporting events. He often works with local high schools to provide care at football games in support of the community.
