Jay Mistry, PA-C joined Delaware Orthopaedic Specialists as a Physician Assistant in October 2021. He primarily works with Dr. Patel with a subspecialty in primary and revision hip and knee replacement, as well as general orthopedic care. Upon completion of his undergraduate studies at Rowan University with a BS in Athletic Training, Jay worked at the division I level in athletics as a Certified Athletic Trainer for Sacred Heart University while earning his Masters in Exercise Science and Nutrition. He then spent several years working at Brown University as a Certified Athletic Trainer, primarily with the men’s soccer and wrestling programs. After that time, Jay spent two years as a Certified Athletic Trainer with Delaware Orthopaedic Specialists working with Dr. Dellose & Dr. Rubano. After attending PA school, Jay graduated from Thomas Jefferson University - Center City Campus with a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies in August of 2021.
A native of Hazlet, NJ, Jay now lives in Delaware County, Pennsylvania with his wife Shannon and daughter Adelaide.
