Dr. Nicholas Quercetti is an orthopedic trauma surgeon specializing in complex fractures and post-traumatic reconstructive surgery. He earned a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a DO from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an internship and orthopedic residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, with additional training at Cooper University Hospital, followed by an Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship at Miami Valley Hospital through Wright State University. He practices at Christiana Hospital, a Level I trauma center, and has been recognized multiple times as a Delaware Today Top Doctor.

Advanced Techniques / Approach to Care
Dr. Quercetti is Fellowship-trained and accredited by both the Orthopedic Trauma Association (OTA) and the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS), he also serves as faculty for AO North America, where he teaches principles of fracture fixation. His practice focuses on complex pelvic and acetabular injuries, as well as fractures of the hip, femur, tibia, ankle, and upper extremity, with a goal of restoring function and helping patients safely return to their daily activities.
Dr. Quercetti was raised in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Archmere Academy in Claymont, Delaware. At The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland he played varsity football and received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. He then attended the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine where he earned the degree of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
After medical school, Dr. Quercetti completed an Internship and Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, School of Osteopathic Medicine in Stratford, New Jersey. During his residency, Dr. Quercetti received training at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey where he developed an interest in orthopedic trauma surgery, caring for the most severely injured patients.
Upon completing residency, Dr. Quercetti elected to obtain additional training in orthopedic trauma surgery, completing an Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship at Miami Valley Hospital through the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. During his fellowship, he gained experience in the treatment of complex fractures and post-traumatic reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Quercetti is married to his wife, Danielle, and together they are raising their three children. Their decision to relocate to Delaware allowed them to be closer to family and the community they proudly call home, while also giving Dr. Quercetti the opportunity to serve patients at Christiana Hospital, one of the region’s premier Level I trauma centers. Outside of work, Dr. Quercetti enjoys spending quality time with his family, staying active, and being involved in the local community.
